Get the rogue tree shrink kits and you are set for a fractuon of the space. You can get 4 rogue trees and make the same amount of rogues as a traz at about level 30. If you are hma or lower, absolutely do not build alcatraz! Its huge! It doesnt do much until it gets to around level 30! You have many other priorities first. So even though I waited until my trinity was at level 10, I still found it a rough transition from mass barracks to relying on Alcatraz. And 6 rogues a day with low attack buffs is nothing. When you first build it, if you don't have great resources then it's going to sit there at level 6 for a long time. Mine is level 36, however that is purely due to rushing quests that require same age troops. I also don't see that great a need to level it high. Later on I switched to Legionaries and again I was able to produce far more troops than Alcatraz could have done.Īnd most importantly it cost me no forge points. Alcatraz at a low level can't compete with that as I was getting around a hundred to a hundred and fifty Archers a day. In the Iron age I first had loads of Archery Ranges and that allowed me to do really well in the Guild Battlegrounds. I love my Alcatraz now, but I'm glad I didn't get it too early.
